Arriving at lunch time, we spotted the sign of this restaurant and, despite being passing through, we chose it intrigued by its original name: Apicius, a famous gastronome at the time of the Roman Empire, that is to say what today it would be defined as an ultra Michelin star gourmet. And we couldn't have come up with a better choice, even if it was random. Large, welcoming, pleasant and well placed place. With both an aquarium with lobsters and a fridge with constantly maturing meat on display. Friendly and competent dining room staff, who responded excellently to our questions about the dishes of the day on the menu. Excellent first courses, the same goes for the second courses, which the photos of the generous portions served at the table confirm without doubt. Ultimately, a place to be highly recommended, also for the excellent quality/price ratio.

A beautiful surprise a stone's throw from the main road but with a large and well-insulated outdoor environment. Ate meat and fish. Everything excellent. Professional service.

We were at a birthday party and I must say that we ate very well, a simple starter of cured meats, two first courses and a second course, good dishes well prepared with top quality ingredients, delicious cake and fabulous prices, highly recommended
